Saskia: I hold him? I'm sure her poor little brother breaks into a sweat every time he hears this. It can be a rather passionate embrace. (Sitting up in her new big girl bed. The transition to this bed hasn't exactly been smooth…)
Félix: I come undone every time I look at this photo.

Saskia: Say cheers.
Félix: His big sister makes sure he catches up on the latest news.

Saskia: Focused activities generally last about, oh, 3 minutes tops with you at the moment.
Félix: Nappy off. Fresh air. Dancing afternoon sun shadows. A baby's ultimate?

Saskia: Your first sleepover with the cousins at Vovo's house. You ate all your dinner (and two ice creams), stayed up until 10.30pm, slept next to your cousins in beds pushed together and barely blinked an eye when we walked through the door the next morning. You were all like, sleepovers, they ain't no thang.
Félix: I forgot how simple and wonderful the 'plonk and stare' phase is (we plonk you anywhere and stare at you for hours…that is, on days when your big sister is at school).
