Saskia: I place a stack of books on your bed for 'quiet time' and you grab the first one from the pile. Oh my Lord, you exclaim. Just as I imagine she would say it. I fear you might share some traits with that little girl from the Plaza.
Félix: Finding a comfortable place to kick back. Lying on Daddy's tummy and stroking his neck. He was sick and you had just cut your second tooth in a week. My poor boys.

Saskia: A pause before you leap on and ride the slope. You are a bit of an adrenaline junkie. No fear.
Félix: Your first Wold Cup. At a friend's house for breakfast to watch Australia's first game v Chile (also trying to spot Grandfather in the crowd). We're hopeful they'll make the next stage…but if not, we'll jump on the Brazil bandwagon (a legitimate move for Daddy!).

Saskia: Building towers and trains for your animals (your most played with toys by far).
Félix: You have us all under your spell. We live for those smiles.

Saskia: Every game, in every room, every waking moment. Dressing up.
Félix: The background here looks like a bad 1970s studio backdrop (it's a pile of leaves in our courtyard) so it cracks me up that you're wearing your op shopped cable knit. You are soothed outside in the fresh air. I rug you up when I hang out the washing and you are content to kick around in your bouncer, watching your sister scoot past on her tricycle.
